4) Will you be away for long periods from the location where the traps are laid? Snap, Glue, Electronic, and Multiple Catch Traps will either kill or catch mice and hold them at the location of infestation for human disposal intervention. If you plan to be away from the location for weeks or months on end, you may return to a foul smelling home filled with the decaying corpses of mice. You may require a different trap if this is the case, you never want to have to deal with the odor of a dead rat as that is much more work than it has to be.

After inspecting the rat infested areas, place the rat glue boards in those areas. Place the glue traps directly in their runways. Rats usually travel along baseboards and walls, since they use the walls for guidance. Place glue traps where there has been rodent activity.

Second evening, BAM, killed three mice in less than six hours. I think the instructions on the package should have been a bit more detailed. I checked the website to make sure I was setting things up correctly.

They also have something that traditional snap traps don’t; they have a multitude of teeth along the edge around the pressure plate. You can usually find out their hiding places if you can hear the mice making noises in the your home or attic. They are usually running inside walls or dark corners of your house, the more stuff you have lying around your property, the more places these mice can hide in. A: Try to use the least amount of bait possible in any style mouse trap used. The more bait you use, the easier it is for rodents to remove it without disturbing the traps. The goal is to have them apply extra force to the trigger pedal with their nose/tongue to remove the bait. To do this press a small amount of bait into the bait pedal.
Set out unset rat traps can be buried in grain, sawdust, or similar materials within an empty cardboard box or pie pan. Place the rat bait in small pieces near it and above it with the hidden trap below. Once the rats start taking the bait, set the traps. This set up will acclimate the rats to the traps, once adapted, set enough traps to kill a large percentage of the population before the rodents become ” trap shy” This method is called mass trapping, catching them at a higher rate than they can repopulate and become shy of the trap.

Worked out the package, two nights in a row. 1st night female, 2nd night male. Bought the two pack, put strawberry in one & peanut butter in the other (something eating our strawberries). Strawberry trap got them both, didn’t even put new bait second night, just reset in same spot with a little bait still in cup. No more rat problem (for now). PB trap still sitting there with bait, set so strawberry is the bait of choice.
How about a LARGE detailed drawing on your website of how the trap should be set. “Engage locking bar on curved portion of bait pedal” doesn’t clarify anything, nor does the 45 degree instructions. A picture or drawing would be so helpful.

I caught 8 in my house and 6 in my car. I have 3 different types of live traps. The reason? The mice have figured out how to get a yummy snack, a place to puzzle for intellectual amusement then going on about their mousey day.
I set this glue trap for this mouse cause it was destroying my stuff every night. It was successfull but was bad as it when the mouse gets stuck to the trap it cant escape and it dies from hunger, and weakness from trying continuously from freeing itself and it dies after 4-5 days of struggle. This stuff is inhumane I felt so bad for the poor little thing that i freed it, which was the hardest thing to do, and left in and open field.
